Two generators reported stolen in Elk Lake (3 photos)

ELK LAKE - On Oct. 28, 2020 shortly before 10:30 a.m., the members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted in regards to a theft from a property on Ontario Street in the Town of Elk Lake.

Between 10 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 28, 2020, the culprit(s) involved in the incident attended the Ontario Street address and stole two generators and departed the scene in an unknown direction. The generators are described as follows and are similar to the photos above:
    •    Red "GENERAC" 7000 with orange wheels and tubular round frame, and
    •    Red "Ai Power" 9000 with grey round tubular round frame

The offender(s) is unknown at this time and the investigation is continuing. Police are seeking the public's assistance to help locate and identify the person(s) involved and locate the generators, valued at over $2,500.
