Two charged with break and enter in Temiskaming Shores

TEMISKAMING SHORES – On Nov. 29, 2020 shortly before 9 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a break and enter in progress on Whitewood Avenue West in the City of Temiskaming Shores.

Upon police arrival, officers located two individuals inside the residence. 

Joey Vandette, a 26-year-old resident of Cobalt, has been arrested and charged with:   

  • Break, enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code. 

The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date in the City of Temiskaming Shores.  

Sylvie Doire, a 50-year-old resident of Temiskaming Shores, has been arrested and charged with:  

  • Break, enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released by way of an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Dec. 22, 2020 in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
