The Timmins Police Service arrested two local residents on the strength of respective arrest warrants which were executed stemming from separate incidents that occurred yesterday (April 12).
While responding to a suspicious person call for service at a Ross Avenue parking lot, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized the subject of the complaint as being a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Charlene Carpenter, 40 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
She remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
In a separate incident in regards to a suspicious person call for service in the Balsam North area, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized one of the subjects of the complaint as being a wanted person named in a current arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Adam Ronald Beaudoin, 36 of Timmins, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
He remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to charges resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
