UPDATE: Jan. 29

The Timmins Police Service is advising that Larissa Morin, who had been the subject of a “missing persons” incident reported to the Timmins Police Service, has since been located. Morin was located and her well-being has been confirmed by police early Sunday morning. 

This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required. Police are thankful to the general public for their assistance in regard to 
this matter.

The Timmins Police Service is making an appeal for public assistance in locating a person who has been reported to them as missing.

The Timmins Police Service would like to determine the current whereabouts of 40-year-old Larissa Morin.

She is described as:

  • Indigenous female 
  • Height: 5’7” tall
  • Weight: approximately 100 lbs
  • Build: medium
  • Hair and eye colour: black shoulder length hair with red highlights/brown eyes
  • Other descriptors: infinity tattoo on left wrist and a star tattoo on left ankle

She has not returned home as expected.

When last seen, she was wearing a pink winter jacket, black boots with a side zipper, a brown satchel purse, and wearing a pink headband
