Timmins man accused of exposing himself to motorists

The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from an incident at the intersection of Carlin and MacLean Drive during the afternoon hours of Sunday, Dec. 1.

Responding Timmins Police Service officers completed a thorough investigation into the incident where the suspect is alleged to have exposed himself to passing motorists.

The suspect was identified, located, and arrested by the Timmins Police Service. As a result of the incident, Faron Blais, 22 of Timmins, has been charged with:

  • Commit an indecent act contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Fail to comply with recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
  • Two counts of fail to comply with probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins in order to answer to the charges laid against him.
