Oct. 3 update:
The Timmins Police Service is advising that Maija McCord, 18 years of age, who had been the subject of a 'missing persons' incident reported to the Timmins Police Service, has been located.
McCord was located and her well-being has been confirmed by the Timmins Police Service.
This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required. The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the general public for their assistance in regards to this matter.

TIMMINS - Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing teen.
Maija McCord was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with a Monster Energy Drink logo on the front, says the Timmins Police Service. She was also wearing a pair of light blue jeans, white Nike high top shoes and a black toque with pink skulls on it.
The 18-year-old is a white female who is described as being 5' 3" tall and 115 pounds with a thin build, brown eyes and medium length rust-coloured hair.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at 705-264-1201.
