A woman is facing several charges after a suspicious person complaint.
Sunday, May 21, Timmins Police were called about a suspicious person at a Fifth Avenue address.
Responding officers talked to the suspect, who police allege gave a false name to avoid being arrested on a warrant for her. When her identity was confirmed and she was arrested, police say they seized controlled substances.
A 36-year-old from Timmins is charged with obstructing police and possession of a controlled substance.
The accused was held in police custody waiting for a bail hearing today.
None of the charges have been tested in court.
