Sudbury resident charged after Moosonee break-in

On June 11, 2022, members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter incident on Revillion Road, in the community of Moosonee.   

As a result of the investigation, Arran Sabzali, a 51-year-old person of Sudbury, was arrested and charged with:

  • Break, Enter a Place - commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC)
  • Mischief - Destroys or Damages Property, contrary to section 430(1)(a) of the CC
  • Possession Break In Instruments, contrary to section 351(1) of the CC

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 2, 2022, in Moosonee.
