Police looking for witnesses to Riverside Drive crash

The two-vehicle collision happened Sunday at the Norman Street intersection

The Timmins Police Service is seeking the assistance of independent witnesses to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Sunday, Feb. 9 at approximately 14:39 hrs at the intersection of Norman Street and Riverside Drive.

The collision involved a black 2009 Honda Pilot SUV and a red 2015 GMC Sierra pickup truck. Both vehicles sustained significant damage to the extent that both vehicles had to be removed by tow truck.

Each driver was shaken up and suffered minor injuries.

In order to have the investigation move forward, the Timmins Police Service is seeking the assistance of any independent witnesses that may be able to provide details of the sequence of events or driver actions leading up to the collision.

Const. Kevin Mitchell is investigating at this time and would appreciate any witnesses being referred to him to complete the investigation.
