COCHRANE – On April 13, 2021 members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two break and enters reported after the fact at Newberry Lake.
Both of the break and enters occurred on recreational vehicles (campers) that had been parked in a remote area located approximately forty kilometres east of Cochrane and is suspected to have taken place within the last two weeks.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding these thefts to contact the James Bay OPP at 1-888-310-1122. S
hould you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Being anonymous, you will not be required to testify in court and information you provide may lead to a cash reward of up to $2000.
