The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident on the strength of an arrest warrant that was executed stemming from an incident that occurred yesterday afternoon at Hollinger Park.
While responding to a call for service, a Timmins Police Service officer located the subject of the complaint.
Through investigation, it was determined that the woman was the subject of an arrest warrant held by the Timmins Police Service.
Once the validity of the warrant was confirmed, the subject was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result, Annie Ellison, 23, of Timmins was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
She remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins to answer to the charges that resulted in the arrest warrant being issued.
