July 2 update:
The Timmins Police Service is advising that Donald Mercer who had been reported as missing to the Timmins Police Service on June 30, 2020 has been located.
This matter is deemed to be a closed incident with no further police action required.
The Timmins Police Service is thankful to the public for their assistance in regards to this matter
Original July 1 release:
The Timmins Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Donald Mercer (58 years old).
The missing person is described as a white male, 5 foot 10, medium build, 170 lbs.
The missing person has shoulder length brown wavy hair, a goatee and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, work boots, a camo jacket and white t-shirt. He was also carrying a red duffle bag.
He was last seen by a family member in the Schumacher area on July 1, 2020 at 6:40 a.m.
