A suspect brandishing a weapon allegedly threatened a woman in the south end of Timmins.
On Saturday, Nov. 18, the Timmins Police were called to a Spruce Street South address. Police allege a suspect brandished a weapon and threatened a 25-year-old woman.
The suspect was identified and located by officers later that day.
A 49-year-old man from Timmins is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, assault with a weapon and utter threats.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing today (Nov. 20).
None of the charges have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
