MATHESON - On Jan. 28, 2020 at approximately 6:06 a.m., members of the Matheson Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter on Highway 101, Black-River Matheson Township.
As a result of the investigation the OPP have charged, Steven Trevenna, 32 years old, of Matheson, Ontario with the following:
- Break, enter a dwelling house - commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1) of the Criminal Code (CC) and,
- Trespassing at night - contrary to section 177 of the CC.
The accused was released on an undertaking. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 3, 2020 in Timmins, Ontario.
