On Jan. 21, 2020, members of the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of an assault at a local business on Government West in the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ont.
As a result of the investigation, Alicia Gauthier, age 32 from Kirkland Lake, was charged with the following:
- Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code (CC), and
- Fail to comply with probation order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake, on Feb. 27, 2020.
