KAPUSKASING – During the morning of Sept. 17, 2020, the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) and Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), executed a CDSA warrant at a residence on De L'Etang Boulevard in the Town of Kapuskasing.
Police seized suspected cocaine as well as Canadian currency, that combined had an estimated street value of $11,500.
Sandra Arsenault, 60 years old of Kapuskasing, was arrested and charged with:
- one count of possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine contrary to section 5(2) CDSA and;
- one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) CC.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on Oct. 19, 2020 to answer to the charges.
