On March 19, 2020, at approximately 9:33 p.m. members of the James Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Kapuskasing.
As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old from Kapuskasing was charged with the following:
- Unlawfully in a dwelling house contrary to section 349(1) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
- Fail to comply with recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the CC.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on April 6, 2020.
