Iroquois Falls resident faces theft charges

Police say the 48-year-old stole from a local business

IROQUOIS FALLS — On May 27, 2022, members of the Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business on Main Street in Iroquois Falls.

As a result of the investigation, Trevor Peart, 48 years-of-age, of Iroquois Falls was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 - shoplifting contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code (CC).

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 7, 2022 in Timmins.
