According to OPP, the incident has ended peacefully. One person was taken into custody by the OPP Emergency Response Team. Police say the investigation is ongoing.

OPP are asking people to stay away from a Kirkland Lake street for a police investigation.
OPP shared an alert on Twitter notifying people of a heavy police presence on Woods Street in the community.
"Please stay away from the area while police conduct their investigation," it reads. "More information will be released when available."
