TEMISKAMING SHORES - On April 2, 2020 shortly before 10 p.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an individual on Highway 11, in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
Further investigation revealed that the accused was not complying with a prior release.
Brent Fisher, a 42-year-old resident of Englehart, was arrested and charged with:
• Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court, contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
• Possession of a schedule I substance - cocaine, contrary to section 4(1) of the CC.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 3, 2020, in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
