ENGLEHEART – On June 20, 2020, members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of sexual assaults that took place between April and June 2020 in the Town of Engleheart.
On July 31, 2020, with the assistance of the Temiskaming Detachment OPP Crime Unit, the accused was arrested.
As a result of the investigation, Anthony Martin, 34-years-old, of Englehart has been charged with the following:
- Sexual assault contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code (CC) (Four counts)
The accused was released by way of an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario court of Justice in Temiskaming Shores in August, 2020.
