COBALT - On Jan. 20, 2020 at approximately 4 p.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision on Lang Street in the Town of Cobalt, Ont.
Further investigation revealed that a school bus and a city transit bus were travelling south when the collision occurred.
There were occupants on both buses. One passenger on the school bus sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the city transit bus, a resident of Temiskaming Shores, Ont. has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
