KAPUSKASING - On June 4, 2022, members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Frontenac Crescent in the Town of Kapuskasing.
As a result of the investigation, Gilles Chabot, a 64-year-old person of Kapuskasing, was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm, contrary to section 267(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 8, 2022, in Kapuskasing.
