Cochrane man found in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine: OPP

COCHRANE - On Feb. 6, 2020 at approximately 11:15 a.m., following a police investigation, members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) made an arrest on Fifth Street in the Town of Cochrane, Ont.

Mark Gray, 37 years old of Cochrane, Ont. was charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

Further investigation revealed that the accused was in possession of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and morphine. The accused was subsequently charged with three more counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to section 5(2) CDSA.

The combined estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $8,300.

The accused was held into custody scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane, Ont. on Feb. 18, 2020, to answer to the charges.
