JAMES BAY DETACHMENT ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

On April 10, 2022, members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault with a weapon that occurred on Hutchison Road in the Town of Moosonee.
One person assaulted another person with an edged weapon, which resulted in minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Cailey Blueboy, 18 years old, from Moosonee, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code (CC)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on June 14, 2022 in Moosonee.
