KIRKLAND LAKE - On Aug. 3, 2021, frontline members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business located on Government Road West in the Town of Kirkland Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Paige Elliot, 28 years of age of Maisonville Township, has been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sept. 23, 2021 in Kirkland Lake.
