In keeping with the provisions of the Police Services Act (RSO), the Timmins Police Service will be hosting its annual Police Auction on Saturday, Aug. 15.

With the challenges and personal restriction imposed by the public heath protocols regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Timmins Police Service will be hosting this event is such a way so that all applicable public health concerns are addressed.

Among the items up for auction, a collection of bikes, tools and jewelry has been recovered by the Timmins Police Service. All investigative efforts to locate the rightful owners have been exhausted.

There are no provisions for reserved bids. All collected funds will go towards operational budgeting.

A preview will be set to commence at the Timmins Police station at 8 a.m. with the auction set to begin at 8:30 that morning.  

WHERE: Timmins Police station at 185 Spruce St. S. in Timmins
WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 15 at 8 a.m.

All items are sold at auction are:
    •    subject to HST
    •    sold in an “as is” condition
