25-year-old Kirkland Lake resident faces shoplifting charges

KIRKLAND LAKE – On July 12, 2021, frontline members from the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a business located on Government Road East in the Town of Kirkland Lake.

As a result of the investigation, Greyszen Beszedes, 25 years of age, of Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged with:

  • Theft under $5,000, contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 26, 2021, in Kirkland Lake.
