The Timmins Police Service is investigating allegations of sexual assault made against a local man that occurred from March to October 2022 involving a number of female victims.
Based on the ensuing investigations undertaken by the criminal investigations division of the Timmins Police Service, Arthur Van de Kraats, 20, of Timmins, stands accused of sexual assault related offences.
He had been arrested most recently by the Timmins Police Service on Nov. 1 in relation to similar allegations of sexual assault.
Van de Kraats was denied bail and remains in custody awaiting his next court appearance slated for Nov. 22 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins.
