$1,000 worth of items stolen in Temiskaming Shores

TEMISKAMING SHORES – On July 4, 2020 at 9 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a break, enter and theft that occurred on Scott Street in the City of Temiskaming Shores.

Further investigation revealed that between 1 p.m. on July 3 and 9 a.m. July 4, 2020, unknown person(s) broke into the establishment and stole various items.

The stolen property includes, but is not limited to:  

  • A Mastercraft Mig and Flux core wire feed welder,  
  • A Dewalt Grinder with an aluminum buffing pad; and  
  • A Black and Decker Sander

The value of this theft is estimated at approximately $1,000.

The Temiskaming OPP is requesting anyone with information on this break and enter that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip here, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
