Denis was a man who treasured his wife, son and grandkids in his own special ways. He was also known as The Mad Trapper, a man who loved his camps more than city limits. He found tranquility in the bush and with his trapping, fishing and blueberry picking. His legacy, passion and love for the outdoors will live on through his family. He will fondly be remembered for his stories, life lessons, inappropriate jokes and love for his family. He was an inspiration and father figure to many with his multitudes of trades and passions, leaving an impression on whoever he came across. Denis was a book of knowledge… The family wish to thank the nurses, doctors and the Palliative team at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. As per his wishes, cremation will take place through Adams Funeral Home in Barrie. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
