(1926-2014) - The family announces with sorrow his passing on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Strazisar). Loving father of Christine Deiulis (Mike) of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Linden Deiulis. Dear brother of Maria Rigon (Angelo) and Victor Rinaldi (Barbara). He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Rinaldi is predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Angelina (nee Cecchini), both of Sedegliano, Udine, Italy; by his siblings Germano Rinaldi (surviving spouse Margherita), Rosina Rinaldi (late Bruno); sister-in-law Katie Baleck (surviving spouse Paul). Rinaldo arrived in Canada in 1950. He was a member of the Porcupine Dante Club for 60 years. He had a hobby farm that kept him very busy. He loved spending time in his garden and also enjoyed making homemade wine.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home (705)268-4488
