PRINCE: Yvonne

(May 31, 1920-July 17, 2014) - In loving memory of Yvonne Prince (née Sonier) who passed away at the age of 94, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her husband Eddy Prince (1975). Loving mother of Shirley Fortier (Herve), Dorothy Morin, Lynda Farrell (Lloyd) and Mark Prince (Tuesday). She will also be missed by her many siblings (Sonier and Taillefer), 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Yvonne always enjoyed the company of her family. She loved to be taken to the Timmins Square and the Bingo, always in the hopes of seeing people she knew. Family was very important to her. Over a nice cup of hot tea and something sweet, she loved to laugh and share fond memories of time spent with loved ones. She held a special place in her heart for each family member, always inquiring about each one. Yvonne will be remembered as a very warm, caring, generous and grateful person. Her infectious smile and sense of humor will be missed. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor and the Timmins and District Hospital for the time, care and compassion shown toward Yvonne.
