Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with his family by his side, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of 38 years to Denise Maki (nee Mahalak). Loving father of Lisa Maki, Gordon Maki and Craig Maki. Proud grandfather of Ryan Delich and Samantha Maki. Predeceased by his parents George and Ida Maki (nee Erikaina) and Denise's parents Edward and Dolly Mahalak (nee Kortas). Dear brother-in-law of Greg Mahalak (Josie).
Karlo was raised and educated in South Porcupine. He worked for 33 years at the Kidd Creek Mines - Metsite. After retirement, he worked for 5 years at Kulta Koti and enjoyed his time there. Through out his life he enjoyed all outdoor activity and traveling.
