1941-2014 - The family announces with sorrow his passing on Sunday December 14, 2014 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 73. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marcelle (nee Ouellette) in 1999 and by his infant son Paul. Loving father of Christine Beauvais (Denis) of Timmins, Lisa Girard (Mark) of Barrie and André Leonard (Selma) of Kuwait. Cherished grandfather of Alex & Kelsey Beauvais, Mitchell, Graham & Matthew Girard, Francis, Franzain & Jean-Gabriel Léonard. Dear brother of Agathe, Regent & Arthur. Predeceased by his parents Arthur & Maria Leonard, his siblings Laura, Solange, Emilia, Armande, Emile, Camille & Armand. He worked at Kydd Creek Mine as an electrician for over 20 years. Jean-Paul was a loving father and grandfather.
The family will receive friends for a visitation and gathering on Thursday December 18, 2014 from 2-4 pm in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre (705)268-4488. Il a travaillé à la mine Kydd Creek comme electrician pour plus de 20 ans . Jean-Paul adorait ses enfants et ses petits-enfants
