Peacefully passed away at the West Nipissing General Hospital on October 22, 2015 at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Cecile Leblond (2000). Also predeceased by his son Raymond (2011). He was the loving father of Robert (Colette) Furgus On, Richard (Mona), of Timmins On, and Daniel (Tina) of North Bay, On. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Marsha Leblond.  He was the cherished grandpa of Penny Leclerc, Kevin Leblond, Richard (Ricky), Crystal, Vincent, Christine and Sylvain Leblond and step- grandpa to Marc and Chad McNulty; and great grandpa to Erika, Bailey, Cameron, Callie, Andrew and Alexis.   He is survived by his brothers; Andre, Joe, David, and his sisters; Juliette, Claudette and Therese.  He will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and his brothers;  Leo, Emile, Aurele. Ernest, Romeo, Gilles, and  a sister Deleres. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St.Vincent-de-Paul on Monday at 11 am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the West Nipissing Hospital would be gratefully appreciated by his family. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at the West Nipissing Hospital. We are very appreciative of all the wonderful care they gave our dad and to the compassion shown to us.
