February 22, 1955 - February 16, 2017 — On February 16, Derrick Fisher passed away at age 61. Derrick was born and raised in Timmins Ontario, but spent most of his life with the people he loved on Nipissing 1st nation.
Derrick is survived by his loving wife Deborah, caring daughter Sherry (Trish) and was a loving grandpa (Shomiss) to Derrick and Kievin. Also surviving Derrick are his three sisters, Debbie (Ed) of Edmonton, Ina (Les) of Timmins and Ann (Rob) of Timmins. Derrick also had numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends. Derrick was predeceased by his parents Dave and May Fisher and his parents in-law Fred and Leda McLeod.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Monday February 20, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 7:00 until 9:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday February 21, at Holy Spirit Catholic church in Garden Village.
