The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital St-Mary's Site on Thursday April 1st, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of 64 years to Edith Annan (nee Miller). Loving father of Larry (Cheryl) Annan of Niagara Falls, Nancy (Mike) Mageau of Timmins and Blair (Celine) Annan of Timmins. Cherished grandfather to Christopher Annan, Melissa Mageau (Erik Duffley), Jason Mageau, Shayna Annan (Kenneth Knott), Sarah Annan (Dan Perron) and great grandfather to Weston Perron. Dear brother of Allan Annan of Whitby, Gordon (Patricia) Annan of Cobourg, late Clayton Annan of Pickering and late Evelyn (late Benoit) LaHaye of Whitby. He was also predeceased by his parents Frederick and Lily Annan. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be sadly missed. He had the passion for aviation and had the opportunity to travel the world as a Aircraft Engineer which bought him to many interesting places around the globe. He also served in the air force for 5 year and was a proud member of the legion for 45 years. In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have decided to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
