BRUSSELS — Canada's women's basketball team continued an exhibition tour with a 68-64 loss to host Belgium on Saturday.

Tied 62-62 with under a minute to play, Belgium took the lead for good on a clutch three-pointer with just 35 seconds to play.

Kayla Alexander led Canada with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sami Hill and Miranda Ayim had nine points apiece, while Cassandra Brown added eight points.

Antonia Delaere led Belgium with 14 points.

Canada ends the three-game exhibition series in Belgium with a match against Spain on Sunday.

Canada is using the games to prepare for a busy summer that will see the team participate in the FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2019 and Lima 2019 Pan American Games, as well as Olympic qualifying tournaments this fall.
