The South Porcupine Food Bank invites the public to participate in our 'Giving Tuesday' event planned on Tuesday, Dec. 3. 2019.

This kicks off our $20,000 year-end campaign, with proceeds towards our operating costs, including purchase of Christmas hams and turkeys for needy individuals and families. You can help by donating non-perishable food items at our 'Fill The Van' event or by making a monetary donation (tax receipts issued) on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Porcupine Mall.

You may also add food items to our bin at Food Basics. We humbly thank all our supporters who have contributed food items and monetary donations through food drives, churches, and various organizations and businesses, as well as very generous individuals. We depend on your combined support to continue to serve those in need.

For August, September and October 2019, we served a monthly average of 238 people (158 adults and 80 children). Our monthly operating costs in 2019 have averaged $6,021 to date. Please consider a tax-deductible donation. You may make donations by cash, cheque, or on-line (including securities) through Canada Helps.
