A second-place winning ticket valued at $191,154 was purchased in the Timmins area, says Rui Brum a spokesperson for Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG).

If you purchased a Lotto Max ticket for last night's $50 million draw take it to your nearest OLG retailer, says Brum.

"If you have a winning ticket for a major prize amount, such as the one sold in the Timmins area, the machine will freeze and the retailer will get a call from OLG," he says.

OLG calls to confirm the ticket is a winner, and to contfirm the name and contact information of the ticket holder.

Brum says OLG takes steps to verify the ticket and make sure everything is in order before sharing any more information with the public.

His most important message, "check your tickets."
