Rock on the River continued to get bigger and better this year.
The third edition of the Timmins Festivals and Events Committee's (TFEC) growing music festival offered two nights of live music this summer.
To make room for their biggest acts to date, the group had to get a bigger stage.
The first night featured Scott Helman, Logan Staats and Walk off the Earth.
Billy Talent headlined the second night of shows, with Death From Above, Bleeker and The Motorleague also hitting the stage.
Three community groups also benefited from the festival, with TFEC donating more than $3,000 to the local non-profits.
The Northern Ontario Expo received a portion of the 50/50 draw for helping out with volunteers for the draw.
Project Love and the Timmins Family Counselling Centre received the donations from child entries. Members of the groups also assisted with the front gate.
