Special weather statement in effect for:
• Fraserdale - Pledger Lake
• Kapuskasing - Hearst - Smooth Rock Falls
Strong and gusty westerly winds along with snow and occasional blowing snow continue to affect areas from near Lake Nipigon to Kapuskasing. Additional snowfall amounts today are expected to be less than 5 centimetres.
Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination. Poor winter driving conditions continue due to drifting and occasional blowing snow.
Conditions are expected to slowly improve later today as the strong low pressure area over far northeastern Ontario moves further away.
