Public works crews will be doing day and night snow removal this week.
According to the City of Timmins, overnight snow removal, which is done between 9:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., will happen:
• Sunday, Dec. 16 – King from Gervais to Bristol, Harold from Crawford to Legion, and Algonquin from Father Costello to Highway 655
• Monday Dec. 17 — Riverside Drive from Mattagami River to Shirley, Shirley from Riverside to Lafleur
• Tuesday, Dec. 18 — Wilson, Commercial, Theriault and College
• Wednesday, Dec. 19 – Jubilee, Ross, Toke and James
Daytime snow removal is also scheduled and takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The schedule is:
• Monday Dec. 17 – Balsam from Second to Ogden, First Avenue, Belanger, Bannerman and Middleton
• Tuesday, Dec. 18 – Cedar from Fifth to Ross, Balsam from Fifth to end, Birch from Fifth to end
• Wednesday, Dec. 19 – Windsor, Kent, Way, Wende, and Montgomery
• Thursday, Dec. 20 – Cameron South, Preston, Wilcox and Rea
• Friday, Dec. 21 – Churches and store fronts
