Timmins Rock Championship Celebration
Friday, May 26, 6-9 p.m.
Hollinger Park

Celebrate the Junior A hockey club's NOJHL championship-winning season. It all starts with a parade from the Timmins Museum: NEC to Hollinger Park. At the park, fans can take photos with their favourite players and see the championship trophies. There is also free lazer tag and bubble machines at the park courtesy of Climb N Fun, and ColdWater is performing. 

IG Wealth Walk for Alzheimer's

Gillies Lake

Canada's largest event to raise money for dementia is back. It's taking place across Canada, including in Timmins.The event contact is Erin Bondarenko at [email protected] or 705-288-1758.

Khalsa Day
Saturday, May 27, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Downtown Timmins

Everyone is invited to enjoy this second annual event in Timmins. The program starts at the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat, 24 Cedar St. S., at 9 a.m. and there is a parade starting at 11 a.m. Other highlights include free vegetarian food, the Sikh Motorcycle Club, turban-tying experience, Gatka (a martial art associated with the Sikhs of the Punjab) and an informational display. Sip locally brewed beverages, enjoy the Smokey Robinson BBQ food truck and shop from a variety of local artisans.

Jazzy Bains Concert

For the second-consecutive year, Jazzy B is back in Timmins. Tickets for the renowned Bhangra performer's show are $20 or $100 for VIP access. To purchase them, call 416-576-0118 or email [email protected]. Proceeds of the event are for the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat of Timmins.

Timmins Multicultural Festival
Sunday, May 28, Noon
McIntyre arena

The popular event showcasing the city's diversity is back for the 51st installment. The parade is at noon and the festival floor opens for cultural performances after that. There will be multicultural food vendors, exhibits, a 50/50 draw, international dances and performances and more.
