TImmins is marking World Diabetes Awareness Month.

The Porcupine Branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Diabetes Education Centre is holding an event on Nov. 14 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can stop by the centre on the second floor of the 101 Mall, meet the diabetes education team and take home information on diabetes management.

The 10th Annual Timmins Diabetes Expo is being held Nov. 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ramada Inn. The keynote speaker is Dr. Ian Blumer.
