TEMISKAMING SHORES - On Aug. 16, 2018 at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call for a break and enter and theft of a motor vehicle from Latchford Street in Temiskaming Shores, Ont.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the incident occurred between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 16, 2018. The residence was broken into while the occupants had been asleep and the following items were taken:
    •    large screen, Samsung television, valued at $2,700
    •    white Samsung tablet, valued at $500
    •    white Samsung Galaxy Prime cell phone, valued at $200
    •    2017 brown Buick Envision, valued at over $50,000

Shortly after 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2018, the motor vehicle was recovered near Giroux Lake south of Cobalt, Ont. The additional stolen items remain outstanding.
