We have received confirmation that we can move Pope Francis Elementary School on a temporary basis for the 2017-2018 school year. This temporary location will allow us the time and space to fully complete the addition and renovations required, while ensuring the safety of our students and staff.
Important Details & Information:
- The temporary home of Pope Francis Elementary School will be at the current site of Sacred Heart School, located at 401 Cedar Street South in Timmins. The students and staff will stay at this temporary location for the entire 2017-2018 school year.
- We will move into our permanent location at 387 Balsam Street North effective September 1, 2018.
- We will work in partnership with the Tri-Board Transportation Consortium to organize the transportation details for students eligible for bus transportation to the temporary site of Pope Francis Elementary School. We will keep our families updated on our progress in this regard.
