More than 55 businesses and organizations from across Northern Ontario are taking part in the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase at the 2015 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada's (PDAC) International Convention, March 1-4, 2015, in Toronto.
 
Among them, two Timmins companies are creating and buzz. 
 
NORCAT unveils Virtual Training Technology at International Mining Convention
 
The Northern Centre for Advanced Technology (NORCAT) is generating a buzz with demonstrations of its new engaged virtual reality learning technology at the 2015 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) International Convention.
 
With operations in Timmins and Sudbury, NORCAT is one of more than 55 businesses representing the region at the FedNor-funded Northern Ontario Mining Showcase, one of the largest pavilions at the convention.
 
PDAC is one of the world’s leading mineral exploration conference and trade shows, running from March 1-4, 2015, and featuring approximately 30,000 attendees from 125 countries.
