COCHRANE, ON - On June 28, 2014 at 6:01 a.m., members of the Cochrane OPP detachment responded to a two vehicle collision between a three-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and an off road dirt bike on Concession 2 & 3 Road in Glackmeyer Twp, near Cochrane, Ontario.
As a result of the collision, two male drivers in their early twenties from Cochrane, Ontario have been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still unknown and remains under investigation; however alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the collision.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are at the scene as part of the police investigation.
A portion of Concession 2 & 3 Road, East of Genier Road remains closed as police continue their investigation.
An alternate route along Concession 2 & 3 Road is available for local traffic residing in the area.
